Bag from Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2015.

What were your favourite moments from the spring summer 2015 women’s collection? What were the designers and what were the accessories that grabbed your attention the most? I loved the Zac Posen and Manish Arora most. Accessories have been becoming more important part of any collection season by season and having a perfect proportion of accessories injected into marker every season is a need. Were there any particular accessories that grabbed your attention this season? Bags? Shoes? jewellery? If you are a bag person you wouldn’t  miss a single alluring piece of bag that models walk the ramp with. Being a bag person my self, I loved many bags but for this article, I have picked 10 bags that I loved the most. The list includes bags from Fendi, Armani, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Miu Miu, Chanel and Moschino. Chanel has been my all time favourite and last year’s graffiti backpack and clutches made my Chanel love stronger. This season’s woman empowerment move by Karl and a messages sent across from the runway protest led by Cara, the most favourite of mine is the metal clutch with the initials “Make Fashion not war” . Armani and Versace bags were chick as usual. Blue bag with Emporio Armani collection was simply outstanding. See through Versace bag in sky blue was perfect style statement. I have lusted over fendi bags more than anything since the iconic bug bags for last 3 seasons. This season, the black bag with floral print was one of my favourite. The bag that’d make you miss the heartbeat came from the Vuitton. As usual, bags were so chick and worth every penny to spend on! You can not just get enough of them. The bag that came in 3 Colors – white, green and blue . About Moschino , I have been in love with Moschino ever since the Jeremy has taken over the house. I loved the last season’s McDonalds inspired clothes and this years Barbie inspired collection was equally chic. The heart shaped rosy pink bad from Moschino was one of my favourite. What is the word that clicks your mind when you hear the word Hermès? Pure Parisian elegance. And so was the bag. Cross shoulder/ hand bag with monogram was utterly classy and piece of an art. Here are the pictures. Enjoy!

Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2015 Collection Review

It was quite scenery for eyes to watch! The not so evening-wear collection of Marc Jacobs has it all for high-school teenagers. Even with the fade-away shades of Olive, tan and blue, he perverted the anonymity into something flamboyant. Flirty, hyper-sculpted minis. Long, shapeless schoolgirl dresses. Slouchy overalls. Cropped cargo pants. Waist-conscious jackets cut with militaristic precision. Giant sweats cut with room for two. Cargo pockets abounded, here, there and everywhere. The embellished sweats made the repeated entry following Jacob’s previous collection.

Oscar de la Renta Spring Summer 15 collection Review

If you just thought, floral are over, think again cause industry’s favourite fashion designer had it floral all the way for his Spring summer collection that oozed the utter femininity and old school glamour,  which is also the house’ signature style. The show opened with bright pastel oversized prints, cropped tops and fringed brogues that was a welcome shift towards more modern vibes. The ramp then turned up into an array of floral designs – light crocheted designs, planted intarsia-style embroidered coats, feathered cocktail numbers and closed with an exquisite asymmetric hem dress.

Carrolina Herrera Spring Summer 15, NewYork Fashion Week

Nothing seemed so cliché at first glance when Carolina Herrera tried to go-round with floral for spring summer collection as she has done this before. But the task was to sample new fabrics and experiment new materials making the collection edgy while she kept trying to push the boundaries the embroidery on skirt was unusual and simply outstanding. She took a step furtherer by painting those pieces into pink and then piecing them together like tile mosaic. But for those who may want to play safe and mainstream, there are pieces for them as well.carolina-herrera-spring-summer-2015-nyfw1

With all the knockout element presents, Shoes, sunglasses and Bags were most alluring part of the Ferragamo Spring Summer 2015 collection. Giorgio Armani Spring Summer 2015

Is this just me being paranoid with selective perception of White for summer or all these British and Italian designers really been recreating the all “white for summer” vibes this season?  White has been catching my attraction and I found it prevalent in almost all of the collections this season. About, Armani, I just remembered the phrase “Long live Armani” The white pants paired with black jackets, all white attire, and checks, stripes everything! Shades of gray and navy blue, It’s all classic Armani, utterly elegant and sharp.
