The fashion show for Jonathan Saunders Fall Winter 14-15 collection was held in grand setting of Tate Britain and was quoted as “much more mean than previous collection” by the designer. It was all old school with oversized jacket finished in patchwork fabric and wool sweatshirts. With inspiration from artists such as Robert Rauschenberg and Sarah Lucas, Saunders created pinstripe shift dresses, statement stripes and boots designed in metallic or glitter. Even with all his love for wearable pieces, Christopher Kane put on runway big-brush patterns and dressing gown coats following industry instincts. Slim suits and ankle touching school boy trouser were sharp enough to remind audience of banker’s practice lapel. The top handled bags are classy and expensive looking. The dresses and coats finished in fur are sure to be a winter favourite next season. Click here to see the full collection.
